| AUGUST 8, 2025 -- The next meeting of Eastern Connecticut Pomona Grange will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Hillstown Grange Hall, 617 Hills Street, East Hartford at 7 pm.
The program, “Sense of Wonder”, will be presented by the Lecturer. The collection items for this meeting are school necessities such as colored pencils, school glue sticks, washable markers, wood pencils, and boxes of 24 crayons.
We will begin the meeting with a presentation by Suzanne Feola, Habitat for Humanity North Central Connecticut Director of Development. We have scheduled the date of April 25, 2026 to assist Habitat for Humanity as a community service project.
The election of officers in June found the slate re-elected and they will be installed at this meeting.
A SUNDAY FUNDAY, is an event the Pomona is co-sponsoring at Strong Family Farm with Vernon Grange, will be held on Sunday, August 17th from 10 am – 2 pm. More details are available on the flyer or by contacting info@strongfamilyfarm.org.
We have also set aside the date of July 18, 2026 for a Pomona activity. Some suggestions have been made and we will be discussing these ideas at future meetings so come and get involved in the planning!
The new handbooks should be available for distribution on September 6th.
