May News from Beacon Valley Grange No. 103

By Joanne Cipriano

  MAY 7, 2025 --

The April 11th meeting of Beacon Valley Grange was held at the home of President Joanne Cipriano. This being a busy time for Granges there was much to be discussed.

Paul Paloski was chosen as our “Citizen of the Year”. Paul is very active with our Scout Troop as well as volunteering with a couple of the local churches and others.

Refreshments were planned for our anniversary on June 13th and hosting the Pomona meeting on June 1st.

Members filled a huge basket plus with a ham, potatoes and other staples and gifts for a needy family for Easter.

A discussion of our Tag Sales and Open Mic resulted with us changing the closing time for the tag sale to 2:00. Hours for the open mic to remain the same.

Tickets for the June 13th raffle were distributed. Anyone wanting more, willing to buy or sell tickets please call President Joanne.

At our anniversary meeting on June 13th, we will be honoring our President Joanne Cipriano for 75 years of Grange membership. This is an Open Meeting. Come and visit. Our next meeting is May 9th.

Election of Officers. Marilyn Maxwell is in charge of refreshments.
