MARCH 10 2025 -- Wallingford Grange has had several fun events throughout the month of February. First, a wonderful book folding class was led by Wallingford Grange member Kathy Sabo where attendees got to learn how to fold pages within a book into a heart. It was so much fun! We can’t wait to up our skills with more designs in the future.
The second Wascal Wednesday play date was a blast! The kiddos played with cardboard blocks, created and launched a snowball-cup game, and made Valentine hearts. Third, we had our 2nd monthly “Chess Nerds” gathering (held every first Saturday of the month) from 9-11 AM which is starting to grow more in popularity.
Finally, at our monthly Grange meeting, members enjoyed a potluck to celebrate a feast together as part of the lecture focusing on the attribute of friendship associated with the Fourth Degree. For our March lecturer’s program on Thursday, March 13, we will honor Women’s History Month and focus on a talk about the historical women of Wallingford. Our Lecturer’s program at our April Grange meeting on Thursday, April 10, at 6:30 PM will celebrate the coming of spring with a seed and plant swap. We will also have our monthly country store raffle at each meeting. All are welcome to attend.
