| FEBRUARY 3, 2025 -- Updates from the North East Region Leadership Conference
I’ve just returned from the North East Region Leadership Conference in Danvers, Massachusetts, and I am energized and ready for an exciting 2025! This conference was an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow Grange leaders, share ideas, and get a firsthand look at what’s in store for our future.
One of the event’s highlights was a workshop focused on Project Sustenance, a new initiative launched by the National Grange in January 2025. I am excited to be helping with this project and will share more information with your Granges soon. This initiative promises to greatly impact our communities, and I encourage you to get involved.
It was also fantastic to see all seven State Grange Lecturers in attendance. During the conference, Brenda Noble from the New York State Grange was elected President of the North East Lecturers Association, and I was re-elected Treasurer. I am looking forward to another year of collaboration with this dedicated group. Additionally, I am excited to announce that the New York State Grange will host the 2026 North East Lecturers Association Conference.
On the Connecticut front, I’ve been working closely with Dawn Percoski, our State Grange Family Activities Director, to coordinate our upcoming State Grange Family Day Celebration in August. Stay tuned for more details as we finalize plans. We will also host the State Lecturers Photo Contest at this event, so start preparing your best work! Details can be found on the CT State Grange website.
As always, I encourage you to keep your reports coming—whether by traditional mail or electronic submission—so I can stay informed about all the fantastic programs you offer. Your efforts are truly inspiring, and I want to ensure we continue to share and celebrate the extraordinary work being done across the state.
