| JUNE 11, 2024 -- June 14: Pirates and Barbary Wars
June 28: On Leave. Picnic at 6:30 We continue to learn about American history, now delving into the Revolutionary War and several rebellions.
Our Community Citizen program was changed to our first meeting in May, so more about that in our next article.
We held a pancake breakfast in our hall, with the help of the local Lions Club, to raise money for a local family in need.
We will learn about pirates at our first meeting in June after we elect our officers for the year. Our second June meeting will be our annual picnic. The Grange provides hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. Please bring a dish to share. Games are planned after dinner for those so inclined.
And if this darn rain will just take a long vacation next time we will tell you all about merry May.
