May 22: The Great Outdoors

At our recent meeting we discussed the plans for the next few months. We decided to hold some clean up sessions on the Sunday prior to our regular meetings. We made some plans for the annual Grange Fair to include additional displays, crafters, and will be held on a Saturday August in conjunction with the Locally Grown townwide event. We will have country breakfast that day as well.

We will present our annual scholarships to high school and college students the beginning of August. We are excited to have our member Danielle lead a basket weaving session on July 25.

It was good to have Ted Powell visit us and do the inspection. We always welcome visitors. The pollinator garden that was planted near the hall has begun to grow and we are looking forward to seeing the activity. The corn hole group met at our hall during the winter season and the yoga group meets several times a week. These are groups that make good use of our upstairs hall.

We are glad to keep the community aware of our purpose by inviting groups to meet in our hall.
