Spring has Sprung early at the Norfield Grange in Weston - the daffodils, crocus and forsythia are all starting to bloom! It’s been a busy March. On the 1st a second successful Live Music event was held featuring “Good Godfrey!” band. On the 11th after a winter hiatus the ever popular Paint Night returned with a new twist painting round wooden “Welcome Boards” for homes, offices, classrooms and more. An enthusiastic group of Norfield Grangers crisscrossed the state supporting local farms and visited 13 wineries over six weekends participating in The CT Winter Wine Trail. They eagerly had their passports stamped in hopes of winning many of the coveted prizes totaling $6,000. Our next community event is Live Music on Saturday, April 27th (weather permitting) will be held outdoors and a Grange member has graciously offered to stuff the neighborhood mailboxes welcoming them to this event!
