| FEBRUARY 1, 2024 -- We drove up to Concord NH this past weekend for Northeast Leaders’ Conference and had a great time. There were 9 of us from CT. Sorry George and Sharon Russell had to bow out after Sharon got sick. There were 93 total attending. Great workshops on grants, AI, and leadership. We had a great view of the NH State House out the hotel window. It’s the oldest state house(1819) in the country where legislators still meet in original chambers.
The trip home was quite a trip, stopping in Derry, NH to visit old family friends for lunch. Then we got caught in near whiteout conditions in snow squalls in Southern NH. Got through all that and hit a pothole in Brattleboro, VT that pushed the tire off the rim and punctured it. After putting on the spare, the rest of the trip was ok.
