| DECEMBER 3, 2023 -- Our October meeting was held on the 26th with one potential new member visiting. Members who attended the state session in Norwich shared information from the various meetings. Other meeting topics included: state resolutions passed, 6th degree ceremony, youth program is active at Hillstown grange - would be a good model, creating a google doc to keep track of community service, contacting town social services to see how our grange can help for the holidays, repair of cement step outside building, timing of December meeting.
In the last month, we had one member help out at the American School for the Deaf Halloween maze along with seven fellow Grangers. On Thursday, November 9th, we held the last of our 5 part Beaver Pond Wildlife films. Once again, we had a great time hosting a social hour with food and attendance at the film. On Saturday, November 11th, a local artist/seamstress displayed her clothing for sale. We hope to turn this into an annual event.
