Oct. 13-15: Riverton Fair
On Friday, Sept. 15, Riverton Grange met and four applications for membership were received.
The Community Service Committee announced the 26th Veteran of the Month successfully honored WWII Gunnery Sgt. (100 Yrs. Old) Ted Marolda and Afghanistan Vet. MSgt. Jason Alan Hill.
On Sat., Aug. 19 Riverton hosted its 34th Annual Riverton Grange Fair chaired by Judy Doyle. The Fair hosted a large increase in entries with an educational program taught by Granby Grange member Kim Becker on mental health awareness. We had a bake sale. The Community Service Committee presented the Community Citizen of the Year Award to Riverton American Legion Post #159 Commander Tim Sweeny for his work with a number of community Groups.
