OCTOBER 22, 2023 -- Oct. 25: Preparation for fall
We have been active with regular meetings and a lot to discuss. We worked on plans for the Grange exhibit at the Woodstock Fair and planned on all the requirements that were necessary. Many members gladly contributed to this exhibit. I show what the grange means to our community and the results of our labor. We performed the Welcoming Ceremony for a new member Danielle Duquette. We are glad to have her back. Several other local members of the local towns have expressed interest in joining. At the last meeting we received a letter from the National Grange regarding various USDA related legislative issues. Several members of our Grange are returning to school in the fall and one is going on to college. We further discussed the CT State Grange and the National Grange annual meetings.
Our members continue to provide community service to the town including the distribution of food to the town and volunteer for the local Community Kitchen.
A letter will be sent to all members for annual dues.
We will be preparing and serving monthly comfort food dinners to the public. All are welcome. Dates to be posted on Facebook.
Another year has started for the organization and we hope that we can continue to be an asset to the community.
