On June 11, we will host our 4th annual American Flag Retirement Ceremony on the banks of the Farmington River. All attendees are invited to help retire torn, tattered, and used up American flags in this solemn ceremony.

For many years, Riverton Grange has purchased and distributed dictionaries to 3rd grade students at area elementary schools in Barkhamsted, Canaan, Colebrook, and Winsted. This year, Family Act. Ch. Judy Doyle had new labels made for the books and she and new member Colin Wright delivered the dictionaries to all four elementary schools. Special appreciation to Phil & Maureen Prelli for purchasing the dictionaries this year for this impactful project supporting our youth!
