October News from Beacon Valley Grange No. 103

By Joanne Cipriano

  October 12, 2022 --

As we start another Grange year, we are starting to use our new Lecturer’s program theme “The Flower of the Month.” October’s program on the 14th is Cosmos in the charge of Carol Brooks. Marie Sousa will be in charge of refreshments.

Haven’t given a medical report in a while. Happy to hear that Bob Brush is home from the convalescent home and recuperating following an accident at his truck repair shop. Wife Susan is also home from the same convalescent home after a fall. Ceres Sandy Fitzner attended our last meeting after her stay at a convalescent home. The only one I know still in a facility is Judy Reynolds. We hope they are all well on their road to recovery.

Our November meeting is “chrysanthemums” in the charge of Pat Fischer- refreshments are in the charge of Joanne Cipriano.

We continue to hold our monthly tag sale on the third Saturday of each month from 9 to 3 and our Open Mic the same day 2 to 5. Come and join us.
