January 1, 2020 -- The Membership Committee will be organizing several events in 2020. The goal of the events has many branches. First we want to help community members to successfully approach people of all ages to invite them to join the Grange so some of the classes we are offering are primarily focused on helping membership. Another branch is to get our community friends to come into the local Granges and see what we are up to. The hope is to host as many classes as possible in the Granges across the state. Not all of the classes will be convenient to you but for a reasonable cost there will be many fun and educational opportunities for our membership and friends of the Grange. It is, in my opinion, very important for us to share our relevance in our state and one of the best ways is by do- ing things that the communities are interested in. As we move through 2020 I will begin to update you on what is happening, where and when so you can start talking it up and making your reservations. Thank you for your hard work in 2019. It is my hope to give you even more tools in 2020.
Our first event under the Leading & Learning program will be presented by Carmen Brickner. Carmen is dedicated to working with individuals and organizations willing to create healthy relationships and develop the culture, skills and processes necessary for sustainable innovation and success. The program will be offered at Ekonk Community Grange in Sterling. There will be limited seating, with first priority given to Grange members. Details on the date and registration will be provided in the January Granger and will be sent out to all Granges.
