| July 5, 2019 -- Hello Grange friends!
It’s been a busy Spring and Early Summer. George and Sharon are out and about! I had the pleasure of going to Beacon Valley Grange’s 130th Anniversary meeting on May 31st, where I had the pleasure to pose for a photo with Master Joanne Cipriano and Citizen of the Year Recipient James Goggin. We then went to Mountain Laurel Pomona Grange’s meeting on June 1st, where I got to spend some time with my friends Eloise and Carol – the Treasurer and Secretary.
Let’s Celebrate Day was loads of fun this year. Got to see many of our Grange friends, and some beautiful exhibits of handiwork too. The afternoon was fun watching the talent run-offs and the A Number competition. Congratulations to North Stonington Grange on the winning “Holidays” skit, and to the gals from Cheshire Grange who won the Talent Competition.
We also went up to Granby Grange for a visit, where we met some new friends, including Robert Sheldon, who was awarded as a 75- year member! Congratulations!!!
