Enfield Grange March 2019 News

By Irene Percoski

  MARCH 8, 2019 --

Our January meeting was a big success with resolutions. We have 2 to submit and 3 more to work on. Our Community Service Committee has decided not to enter a Spring Boutique at a local Church as the price for a table has increased, which wouldn’t leave much profit for the amount of work involved.  The church group would not consider a reduced rate for non-profits.

10 new lap-ghans were enthusiastically accepted at each of 2 nursing facilities. Parkway Pavilion and Fresh Water Healthcare.

Our March meeting celebrates 120 Years. I wonder if the founders would be surprised if they sat in on a meeting today. And last call to members for canceled stamps as they will be mailed out to Stamps For The Wounded in early March.

Something to think about- Worry is a futile thing, it’s somewhat like a rocking chair, although it keeps you occupied, it doesn’t get you anywhere.

Mar. 9:  120 years For Us.

Apr. 13:  Show and Tell

May 11:  Lilacs and Tulips – Baking Contest.
