Enfield Grange January 2019 News

By Irene Percoski

  JANUARY 10, 2019 --

This year the frost on the pumpkin came earlier than usual, so old man winter is getting ready for his annual appearance and we can only hope he goes easy on us. Our Ugly Christmas Sweater competition was a lot of fun. First place went to Charlene Markowski. There was a tie for second place between Dawn and Irene Percoski, and third place went to Richard Ference. It was voted to do again next year. Our new project this year will be for a local group that helps seniors keep their pets when the cost of care and food become too much for them and they are faced with giving up their pet. The group will help pay for food and medicine. They will provide transportation and payment to veterinarians, and assist with relocating pets when they must be given up.

In January we will work on several resolutions that we hope to pass on to Pomona. Bundle up and stay warm.

Jan. 12: Resolutions

Feb. 9: Who were The Shakers?
