At our June meeting at Pachaug Grange we held a lovely memorial program for members lost during the year. Too many flowers lay at the Altar as a sad reminder of the number of Brothers and Sisters who have now joined the Great Grange Above. We received a lovely thank you note from Ekonk Junior Grange for the two camperships we donated.
Membership Chairman Jeff Barnes reported that the State Executive Committee has come to a final decision as to the distribution of the new Pomona Granges. An announcement will be made on July 9 at Good Will Grange. The final meeting of New London County Pomona No. 6 will be held at Stonington Grange in September. Our Charter will then be turned in and a new era of Pomona Granges will begin. Looks like it will be an evening of music. Please come and join us in our final good bye.
And so it’s time to say good-bye to all those happy years.
Remembering the laughter, remembering the tears.
Remembering the friends we made who now have gone to rest
And knowing that, through all those years, we have been truly blessed. |
