| FEBRUARY 10, 2015 -- Having been re-appointed to this committee by State Master Noel Miller, our committee has come up with two (we hope) fun activities. As we all miss the Connecticut Agricultural Fair, our first activity will be a fun fair titled Hi! Ho! Come to the Fair!. This will be held at the Prospect Senior Center on Saturday, May 16th. Please mark this date in your appointment book. We need your help as we have a minimum count.
Supper will be a catered fair supper and I guarantee the best hot dogs you have ever tasted. We have many items on our menu. Our food stand will be open from 5:30 to 8:30 P.M. So you can eat whenever you are hungry. All for the low price of $10.
Fair premium books and tickets will be available shortly. In the next Granger we will tell you more of our plans.
Our Reach Out project this year is to help our disabled servicemen. We are asking each Grange to fill a shoe box of items needed by these servicemen. These will be given to the West Haven Veterans Hospital. |
