Wolf Den Grange November News and Meetings

By Elsie Johnson

  NOVEMBER 9, 2014 --

Leaves and Halloween and Thanksgiving go together.  Sure are a lot of leaves this year.  Cornfields are chopped - so deer are on the move.  A new bug!!!  White woolie bears are poisonous.  So I’ve heard.

Tabs art still coming in, just got about 2 lbs.

We’ve got our dictionaries to go to third graders at Pomfret Community School.  John Lawson and team installed three Granges on Sept. 27 at Wolf Den.  It was Wolf Den, Senexet, and Putnam Granges.  It was very nice.

CWA is waiting to see what the project is for this year.  Apples are plentiful - visit your local orchards.

Wood piles are being made ready for winter.  Make sure your chimneys are cleaned. Also the rain gutters on your house are free from leaves.
