Old Lyme Grange News for April 2014

By Barbara C. Kulish, CT State Grange Chaplain

  APRIL 6, 2014 --

As I write this last column on February 28th, we will have taken the next step of “surrendering our Charter”, as we signed the closing papers on the sale of our Hall.

The Old Lyme Historical Society are the new owners of the building at 55 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT.

We have made our final Community Service Projects donations for 2014 to: The Shoreline Soup Kitchens and Pantries; Social Services in Old Lyme Fuel Assistance and Gift Cards for the Food Assistance programs; the FFA; High School Graduating Senior Scholarship who workd in Community Service; The Wounded Warriors; Waterford Country School; The Daiper Bank; New London Firefighters Burn Foundation; 2014 CWA projects including the Scholarship Fund; also money towards the Youth Travel Fund.

We will have, if all goes well, turned in our Charter at the meeting on March 28th.
