| OCTOBER 7, 2013 -- With the new year begins our new Lecturer’s program and a new way of doing things. It was decided at our June election that the Lecturer’s programs (with the exception of Degree nights) would be presented by members of the Grange hosting the meeting. The first Grange with this honor will be Beacon Grange at our Nov. 11 meeting.
The State Master has asked all of the Pomonas to help host breaks during State Session. Mountain County has been paired with Excelsior Pomona to host the Saturday morning break. After discussing it with Eloise Osuch of Excelsior, it has been decided that she will bake cookies and Mountain County will be responsible for the beverages for the break-- a great compromise.
The installation of Pomona officers was held at the Sept. 24 meeting of Winchester Grange. Sister Edith Schoell and her team did a beautiful job getting us all of to a great start in the new Grange year.
