| JUNE 18, 2013 -- The re-scheduled Litchfield Grange Open House should have been held by the time of this reading (June 2). As of this writing (May 26) there were reports of snow in the higher elevations --- you start to think there’s a weather conspiracy against Litchfield Grange with the Blizzard of 2013 postponing the first open house. We thank everyone around the Pomona who chipped in to make the event successful. Hopefully that spark plug of a person or persons were found to help re-launch Litchfield Grange.
At the suggestion of the Pomona Master, the annual Gift Drawing held at our June meeting has taken a new twist-- all of the prizes are gift cards purchased through the donations of the Pomona officers. Tickets are available in each of the Granges or from any of the officers of the Pomona (they have plenty of tickets to sell). Tickets are $1.00 apiece. The drawing will be held at our June 24 meeting at Eureka Grange which will also be our election of officers for the next two years.
