| MAY 3, 2013 -- “You better watch out – You better not cry – Better not pout – I’m telling you why Santa Claus is coming to town. “That town is Prospect. That’s where the Social Connection is having their Fall activity – a Christmas party. Date – Saturday – September 21st. We’re not trying to rush the season; but, we are not trusting the weatherman if we had the party in December. We will be having finger foods for refreshments, a $5.00 grab bag, a Country Store to help pay for the use of the hall, Christmas music, presents and Christmas fun. Please mark the date on your calendar. We will be looking for your help with refreshments and country store when the date gets closer.
Has your Grange decided who your “Granger of the Year” will be? We know there are many good candidates in each Grange. We are not looking for the person who comes to Grange in the height of fashion or the prettiest or the most handsome. We are looking for that person who just does those little things that makes your Grange and your meetings pleasant. I’ll be checking the mail. |
