| NOVEMBER 5, 2012 -- Thank You, Thank You to Alma Graham for the absolutely beautiful quilt that she made and donated to the Big E as CT’s contribution to keeping the quilt program alive. A record setting $5,084.00 was donated to the Wounded Warrior Project as the result of her hard work.
Also, thank you to Alma for the beautiful bird and nest decorations at the State Session banquet.
Finally, thank you to all that donated to the hospitality room at State Session. Everything was delicious.
This year’s theme will be “Over, Under and Around the Sea”. This should make for a wide array choices. Let you imaginations “Set Sail.” Information packets were given to your Pomona CWA chairmen or Master at State Session. If you do not receive yours, let me know.
PLEASE NOTE: It has been brought to my attention that there is an error in the recipe for the baking contest - There should only be one 1/4 cup of sugar and not two. New recipes will be sent to the Pomona chairmen for distribution. |
