CT Grangers remember George Bradley

George Francis Bradley of Totoket Rd., North Branford died on September 26, 2001. He was the husband of 51 years to Marion (Doody) Bradley. 

Born in New Haven on June 15, 1924, Mr. Bradley was the son of the late George and Mary (Macklin) Bradley. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS San Bernadino in the Pacific during WWII. He retired after 36 years as a model maker at Sargent Hardware Company. He was an accomplished wood worker and basket maker specializing in Nantuckets.

He was a past Master of Totoket Grange #83 and past patron of Totoket Junior Grange, a member of the New Haven County Pomona Grange #5, Connecticut State Grange and the National Grange. He was also a member of the Friends of the Dudley Farm and several other museum related organizations and historic preservation groups.

Mr. Bradley leaves sons George F. Bradley, Jr. of Grand Rapids, Mich., Paul D. Bradley of North Branford, Kevin M. Bradley and his wife Pamela of West Haven and Martin J. Bradley and his wife Michelle of Manchester, N.H.; grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Michael, George III, Justin, Patrick; granddaughter, Margaret; and brother William Bradley of Fla. He was predeceased by brothers John and James Bradley.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Mary's Church, with burial in All Saints Cemetery.
