Cheshire Grange remembers Past Master Clifford Terrell

Clifford Henry Terrell, 95, a resident of Guilford for over 50 years, died April 29 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. He was the husband of the late Eloise Byrne Terrell.  He was born in Cheshire on Feb. 23, 1916, son of the late Clifford L. and Alice Hitchcock Terrell. Clifford was a long time member of the First Congregational Church of Guilford and a past master of the Cheshire and Guilford Granges and the New Haven County Pomona Grange. He was also a 70-year member of the Subordinate, State and National Granges and a member of Temple Lodge No. 16 AF&AM, Cheshire.

He is survived by two nieces.  

Memorial services will be held at the First Congregational Church, 122 Broad St., Guilford, on Tuesday, May 24, at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Cheshire.  Those wishing to remember him with a memorial contribution are asked to make donations to the First Congregational Church, 122 Broad St., Guilford, CT 06437.  The Guilford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
