Born in Winsted, June 24, 1924, he was a son of Bertha (MacLelland) and William R. Geddes. He had lived here all of his life.

His survivors include a brother, Richard Geddes of Fayetteville, Ariz.; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Rebillard and Dorothy O'Connor and her husband, Robert, all of Winsted, and Margaret Geddes of Norfolk; and five nieces and nephews, Michael, Richard and Sylvia Geddes, Kimberly Langill and Kyle O'Connor.

He was predeceased by a brother, Harold Geddes.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, 11 a.m., at Riverton Congregational Church. Burial was held Aug. 19 in Forest View Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
