First and foremost, I want to thank Todd Gelineau for Obligating our three new members. He was humorous so it made it fun He explained everything as he went along and what the language meant. He also explained what they will need to remember compared to what is not used that often. All of this made it more understandable for the candidates. It was also great to have him there as we went over the resolutions so when we had questions he could help. Thank you, Todd.
We received a wonderful Thank You card from Camp Eureka for the use of our Grange Hall where the campers learned to card, spin and felt wool. They were very interested in “what is the Grange” and we hope they attend one of our meetings to learn more about Grange and become members.
We will be at the Cornwall Agricultural Fair again this year. Held on Saturday September 12th. from 10am to 4pm the fair is free to attend, and we would like to visit our booth. Just look for the giant bubbles. It is a traditional country fair held on the Cornwall Village Green in the rural Litchfield Hills. Now in its fourth decade, it celebrates the town’s farming heritage with agricultural exhibits, livestock, crafts, food and family activities. |
