  SEPTEMBER 9, 2026 --

Sept.12: Installation of Officers

Sept. 25: America Celebrates: Labor Day

July is always a busy month for us with many of our members very involved with our annual Agricultural Fair. Due to this we hold only one meeting in the month. In days gone by we can remember this meeting being swelteringly hot in our upstairs hall and meeting downstairs where it was at least a few degrees cooler. Now we have our wonderful air conditioning system and many of us make sure we have our sweaters with us even on the  most torrid evening. Why not come to a meeting and cool off?

Speaking of the Fair, we were blessed with four days of wonderful (though a bit warm) days , resulting in a very successful Fair. Our new covered pull ring was a big success, with more people sitting in the shade watching the pulls than many of us can remember. Our parking lots were full to overflowing and “a good time was had by all”.

Sue’ September ’26 Grangers program on the 17th educated us on the many meanings of the word “fair”, with many members participating. We also welcomed a new member to our family. Dick and Camilla Tarryk manned a “Grange Table” at the Fair and were successful in increasing our membership. Thank you so much, Dick and Camilla. What a wonderful addition you have proved to be to our Grange. And if those little bunnies will just stop eating our little Rose of Sharon plants, next time we will tell you all about awesome August.
