Aug. 1: Locally Grown Day
Our members are always keeping busy with projects in and outside of the Grange hall. We held another successful Community Breakfast. to connect the residents with opportunities available to them in town. We did hold a successful meat ball and pasta dinner to support the purchase of protective vests for our local fire department. It is great to be able to fund raise for other groups. We received 8 applications for the memorial scholarships we provide to Woodstock residents. These will be presented to the recipients at our August 5 meeting at 7PM . Their families are invited. Many of our members are working on local America 250 events. The Locally Grown Day will be well promoted by our members. We have contacted local farms and vendors to this very popular event.
