| JULY 7, 2026 -- Session and hotel reservations are now open for the 142nd Annual Session of the Connecticut State Grange to be held at the Holiday Inn, Norwich, October 15-17, 2026.
As mentioned in the previous issue, changes have been made to pricing and in procedure for this session. Please read through the registration form included on page three and be sure to fill out ALL information requested.
Unlike previous sessions, Breakfast is by reservation only. Your reservation is made by checking the sections of the registration form. I will only reserve enough meals for the number of people who specifically say they want it.
Session Registrations are due at the State Grange office by September 30, but please don’t wait until the last minute.
The Call to the Session will be going out soon with the delegate registration. Please vote on your delegates and send in your delegate registration cards ASAP. This is critical to ensure your Grange is properly represented at the Zoom meetings held prior to Session to consider the resolutions. Delegates must provide email addresses on the registration form so we can send the Zoom information for Session Committee meetings.
The cost of hotel rooms will remain unchanged this year. For Friday evening it will be $109 plus taxes and fees and for Saturday evening it will be $129.00 plus taxes and fees.
Again, these are incredibly reasonable prices. The standard rate for this hotel is well over $220 per night, plus fees and taxes.
Hotel reservations can be made now by calling the Holiday Inn at 860-889-5201. Please ask for the Connecticut State Grange block rate. As always, if you have difficulty, please email me at Secretary@CTStateGrange.org or call 860-307-1522. The deadline for room reservations is September 10.
The Sixth Degree will be conferred on Saturday morning, October 17, beginning at 10 A.M. Members who want to pre-register can use the forms that will be sent with the Call to Session. The application fee for the Degree is $10. Members may also register for the Degree on the morning of the Degree or anytime during State Session.
The most important thing to remember is to do all of these things as EARLY as you can. Early registration will help us save time and money!
