Winchester held its first meeting of 2026 on Jan. 13. Quite a few members were either unable to attend or were under the weather. Sue Addison stepped up to fill in for the Lecturer and featured a game called “Granny Pants.” State Vice President Ted Powell was a good sport joining in on the fun.

Due to the tremendous amount of snow that fell the day before, the second meeting of Jan. was canceled. The next meeting will be on Feb. 10 and will be “Hearts and Flowers.” Coming to Grange is a great way to cure cabin fever. Join us!

On Friday, Feb. 20, Winchester will hold a benefit Baked Potato Dinner with proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society. Help us help others! Join us from 5-7 PM. Admission is $10 with homemade dessert and beverage included. The meal will be large baked potatoes with all the fixings to include: butter, chili, broccoli, cheese, sour cream and chives. See you there.
