| FEBRUARY 20, 2026 -- Mar. 7: Meeting at Hillstown Grange Hall, 7 pm (in case of inclement weather and cancellation of meeting, it will be held on March 14th.)
The next meeting of Eastern Connecticut Pomona Grange will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Hillstown Grange Hall, 617 Hills Street, East Hartford at 7:00 p.m. In case it is necessary to cancel the meeting due to inclement weather, it will be held the following Saturday, March 14th at Hillstown Grange Hall. If you have any question if the meeting will be held please check with an officer or check the Pomona Facebook page for the information. The program, “ Dandelions”, will be presented by the Lecturer.
Our collection items for the March meeting are cleaning products. We will continue discussing the scheduled social activity on July 18th and will also hope to have more information concerning our Community Service project with Habitat for Humanity scheduled for April 25th. Please join us to participate in these discussions. We had an enjoyable meeting in December with several members of Kent County Pomona in Rhode Island visiting us. The group included the President of the Rhode Island State Grange and newly installed member of the National Executive Committee, Walter Hartley. A picture of the ‘Christmas Chorus’ singing “The Goats 12 Days of Christmas “was shared in the January issue of the Granger. Since our Lecturer was absent due to the pending birth of a grandchild out of state, each officer was asked to bring a Christmas item (reading, skit, poem, etc.) to share for the program. A fun and varied program was the result!
