| AUGUST 7, 2025 -- Our Officer’s Planning meeting was held at the home of Master Joanne Cipriano and all officers, committees, refreshment committees and programs are now in place. Our program theme is the alphabet. Letters taken were A, B, C, D, F, G, M, O, P, Q, S and V. We look forward to some interesting programs.
Our next meeting is August 8th and will be our annual picnic. Pot luck supper at 6 o’clock.
Next tag sale and Open Mic August 16th. We received some new great items – a good collection of quilting supplies and porcelain dolls. Come and check us out. Tag Sale 9 to 2 – Open Mic 2 to 5. We always have some free snacks but Secretary Marilyn has added a lunch snack at a very reasonable price.
Personally I am sill on a high since our last meeting when I received my 75 year membership certificate. I was surprised at having 47 In attendance. Also at the many gifts and cards I received. In addition to cards from Connecticut Grangers and family, I received some from Texas, Florida and Rhode Island. Also a plant and floral arrangement from my nieces and nephews, Fascia’s chocolates (I’ve enjoyed every bite) from friends Barbara Roberts and Eloise Osuch and some spending money from Secretary Marilyn and husband Peter. Thank you very much all. It was a night I will never forget. |
