We have welcomed John Gaccione, Jr., and Loretta and William Aitken to our membership in the past few months along with the members of Preston City Grange #110. We now can boast 82 members.
Another exciting activity has been added to our busy summer program on the grounds. The Scottish Highland Games will be here on July 27, tucked in between our own Agricultural Fair July 10-13 and the 4H Expo. Aug. 8-10. Some big changes are in the air for our Grounds, too. Stay tuned for further updates.
We held a very successful pancake breakfast at our hall as a fundraiser for a local family in need and are very grateful to the North Stonington Lions Club for their able assistance. And putting in a plug for our local Lions, their Memorial Day Parade will step off from our grounds at 10:00 on Monday, May 26, they will hold a pancake breakfast here on May 4 and their annual Steak Fry will take place on June 7. And if these crazy winds will just stop toppling trees over into the wires, next time we will tell you all about Awesome April.
