Nov News from Beacon Valley Grange No. 103

As we start a new Grange year, we start a new theme for our programs. This year Horses. The first one was presented at our October meeting by Carol Brooks. Very interesting and informative. Program ended with a game of “Pin the Tale on the Donkey.” Everyone fell in love with her donkey.

We were happy to have Paul Forte of Wolcott Grange and 2 new members come and visit us.

Our next meeting is November 8th program “Cats” in charge of Marianne Nielsen. Refreshments P-B and J.

Our December meeting is on the 13th and will be our Christmas Party with a potluck supper at 6 o’clock.

$5.00 grab bag. Program “Beavers” in charge of Marilyn Maxwell.

Our tag sale continue the third Saturday of each month from 9 to 3. September’s theme was “apples”. We had a lot of apple items including apple cake and homemade items. October “Pumpkins and Halloween. Pumpkin muffins were the treat of the day. Next sale November 16th. Open Mic held the same day from 2 to 5. Come and enjoy the entertainment or participate.     At our December Open Mic we will have the drawing of our raffle at 3 o’clock.

Members are reminded that dues are now payable. Save us postage and send in yours without receiving a bill.
