NOTE: Refreshments & Social time at 7PM with meeting at 7:30PM unless otherwise noted.

At our May meeting we put together “Seed Kits” for both vegetables and flowers. This was both an educational experience for kids and adults alike. It is also helping families grow their own vegetables. The kits consist of seed trays with lids, dirt mixed with fertilizers, a variety of seeds- (eggplant, tomato, cucumber, green beans, cantaloupe, sweet peppers, zucchini, and zinnia flowers), popsicle sticks for marking what is planted, watering bottle and a small shovel. The seeds were in Origami envelopes. Debbie Hanlon taught us how to make these envelopes.

After our meeting everyone helped set up the Hall for our Annual Plant & Rummage Sale on Saturday June 1st 9AM-3PM and Sunday June 2nd from 10AM-3PM. I will let you know in the next issue how we made out as we have a huge amount of donations this year.
