Around The Grange
Dec New from Senexet Grange No. 40

By Diane Miller

  DECEMBER 24, 2023 --

Dec. 27: Christmas Party

The members of our Grange are busy doing projects for the hall as well as for the community. We hosted the Candidates for local election and showed the community our hall and what we do. We are having several groups use the hall. We have continued to update the interior and make it more inviting for groups. We have coordinated with the Conservation Commission to plant a pollinator garden on the edge of our property. This is going to look great and provide a help for the environment. The annual meeting of the Windham Farm Bureau had their annual meeting in our hall with a buffet meal prepared by our members. We are still looking for new and old ideas to use for our meetings and help us all learn more about the world around us. Our Grange hall is an historic building in our town and we want to continue its symbol for the future. Members make all the difference for any organization and its future.
