| MAY 23 2023 -- Lots of happy news to report of our March 26th meeting held at Cheshire Grange Hall. First, we had 33 in attendance- that’s better.
We had 5 candidates: Aillie McKeen and Robin Hettrick (Wallingford #33), Rebecca Purcell (Greenfield Hill #133), Judy Doyle and Chris Wright (Riverton #169). That was great. And we are always happy to have visitors. Joining us were Peter Keefe, General Deputy (Inspecting), Noel Miller, Past Voting Delegate and Master of Eastern CT Pomona and State Officers Mary Lou Keefe, Pianist, Dawn Percoski, Family Activities Dir. and Irene Percoski of the Agriculture Comm. We thank them for coming.
Following the meeting, the officers outdid themselves with a table full of delicious refreshments.
Our next meeting is Sunday, June 4 at Beacon Valley Grange. Program in charge of Lecturer Bob Charbonneau is entitled “Summertime.” Refreshments will be served by the committee members.
On a sad note, we offer our sincere condolences to our Overseer Charles Dimmick on the passing of his son Edward. Edward is also survived by his brother Wesli Dymoke, Secretary of Cheshire Grange... all members of Cheshire Grange.
