| MAY 14, 2023 -- We have been very active these past few months. Monthly meetings with informative programs. Monthly fund-raising dinners on the last Thursday of each month. These are very popular as the public enjoys the weekday take out. We all enjoy making the dinners and meeting the guests. We are encouraging them to learn about the Grange. The town recreation committee began a line dancing program for the community. This turned out to be very popular and is held upstairs in our hall. The sessions are held on Sunday afternoons and so many attended that they began two sessions of skill levels. Great to see the community using our hall. The weekly Yoga group continues to meet upstairs as well.
The Grange helped with the town roadside cleanup. Our plans now are for the Appreciation Days to honor the teachers, nurses, and firemen. It is important for us to provide a positive attitude and welcome all who come into our hall. Pat continues to make the recycled bags and the sales continue.
We are pleased to see that several of our young members are very involved with high school sports. They are the future of our Grange.
