November News from N. Stonington Community Grange No. 138

Nov. 11: I Haven’t Got “Life”

Nov. 25: No meeting - Happy Thanksgiving

Our September programs were based on the games Clue and Monopoly. On the 9th Sue presented “Clue meets Pictionary” and two teams  drew  interesting  pictures on a large white board depicting (in some cases) the weapon, room and perpetrator involved in the “murder” of Mr. Body.

On the 23 we learned a great deal about various monopolies and took a quiz on the game itself.

The dictionaries are ordered and will soon be distributed to all the third graders in town. Teachers tell us how much the children enjoy this very educational gift.

Our one program in November will be organized and presented by Cheree Miner. And if those pesky hurricanes lurking out there in the Atlantic will just steer themselves out to sea, next time we will tell you all about outstanding October.
