July 20: Hydration Facts and Health Updates

We continue to hold our monthly meetings at the Grange hall. We are planning to make some key holders to sell at the New England Grange Building (Big E). We are trying to host open houses at the hall on every Thursday afternoon for the community as well as every other Saturday to do some work in the hall. We are keeping the community informed about activities that are available to the public including events sponsored by the Woodstock Recreation committee.  Publicity is greatly needed for all programs in town. The teen group meets twice a month on Fridays.  These are very popular and include many from the home school programs. The home school groups meets in the hall weekly.  The yoga group continues

to meet several times a week.

We were pleased to receive several applications for the John

B. Duffy and the Helena B. Duffy Memorial Scholarships. These will be awarded on August 3 during our awards night program and are available to Woodstock residents. These scholarships are in memory of the Duffy families and have been given each year since the 1970’s.

A Cosmic Cat Psychic Fair was held in May and a very successful poetry reading also in May. We are grateful to be able to offer our hall for these popular events.

In May we reviewed a list of activities and projects that that we could do in the future. We are always looking for community involvement and projects we can do together.

Summer will be a time to get together and plan our future programs and fundraising events. We welcome visitors and guests always.
