| May 10, 2022 -- Once again, a link on our membership chain has been severed and I report the passing of William Brush, Jr. Bill was a 73 year member of our Grange and the son of Anna and William Brush, Past Deputies of Excelsior Pomona No. 7. Among his survivors are: his sister Barbara Kirk, Sister-in-law Connie Brush, nephews Robert rush and wife Sue and Mike Kirk and nieces Shirley Kolosky and Kimberly Tompkin- all members of Beacon Valley Grange.
On a happier note, we are pleased that after two years of no anniversary celebration that on June 10th we will be celebrating our 133rd anniversary. We have many members receiving certificates. 80 years Florine Wheeler, 70 years Joanne Cipriano, Patricia Bisson and Paul Miller, 65 years Barbara Kirk, Connie Brush, Jean Meehan and William Maxwell, 55 years Patricia Jacox and Frank Behlman III, 50 years Diane Godin and Laurie Berki, 45 years Robert Brush, Mike Kirk and Terri Kosko and 40 years Shirley Kolosky, Kimberly Brush and Ronald Gunther. This will be an open meeting. We will also be honoring our Citizen of the Year.
We continue to have our tag sale on the third Saturday of the month with May’s schedule for May 21. We will also have an Open Mic the same date from 2 to 5. Please note the new time.
Our next meeting will be May 13 and will be Election of Officers.
