March 20, 2022 -- March 23: Art 101 Project
We have changed our meeting date to the 4th Wednesday instead of the third Wed. We are also having a work session on the second Sat. of each month. This will give us a time to get the hall in order and sort things that are now in various places in the hall. We have had programs on health screening as well as health check in and healthy winter meals.
We held a teen group meeting for kids from the community and 17 participated at the first session.
On Sunday Feb. 6 we held a Grange Summit including a potluck meal. Granges in Rhode Island and Massachusetts were invited. We had a lot of interaction with many suggestions and activities from those attending members. These will be summarized and sent to those attending. It is good to meet with those members from other Granges. Various groups continue to use our hall including the Yoga group and the home school group. The local corn hole group compete in our upstairs hall.
We will be collecting food items in February for the local food bank. An art show is planned for the spring as well as a Shepherd’s Pie dinner. These events are promoting the Grange and hopefully potential members.
We will also establish a list of members who we have not seen in a while and encourage our active members to contact them. We are always welcoming members and visitors.
