Jan. 14: Surprise

Jan. 28: Snow Date for January

The Great Grange Above has again benefitted from our loss. Anita Ames, a Golden Sheaf member who, as a member of a trio, won the State Grange Talent Contest back in the 70’s has joined the Grange’s celestial choir. George Franklin Miner, who ran Maple Dawn Farm in town for many years and made the best maple syrup we have ever tasted and was our Master in 1958-59 has also passed on. They will be sadly missed.

For some happy news, our Flora, Flo Mullane, has returned home after a lengthy stay in the hospital. We are hoping she will be back with us soon.

Our one meeting in January will be hosted by Cheree Miner and is listed in the book as a “surprise.” You will have to come and find out what it will be; but we have enjoyed the programs Cheree and family have presented when the Ag. Committee was in charge and look forward to an entertaining evening. And if that white stuff is drifting gently from the sky as we write this will just go away and stay away until about March, next time we will tell you all about dandy December.
