Oct. 8: Installation of Officers

Oct. 29: Halloween Party

Nov. 12: National Parks - Event arranger Debbie Barnes

Nov. 26: No Meeting - Happy Thanksgiving

On September 10 we learned about the beginnings of mystery writing and took a quiz that convinced many of us that we should read more mysteries.   On the 24th we played a rousing game of Jeopardy which Sean was ahead, but Robert won in Final Jeopardy with Kathy coming a close third.

We have delivered “A Student’s Dictionary” to the town’s third graders.  These are always a great hit with the youngsters as they give much more information than the meanings of words.

Debbie Barnes will present a program on National Parks at our one meeting in November. Jeff and Deb have traveled to many parks and this should be a very interesting and enjoyable evening. And if the reluctant trees  will   just   decide to put on their lovely fall dresses next time, we will tell you all about ominous October.
