May 19:  Lyme Disease Awareness and Prevention

We held regular meetings and had Anika LeBoef from the Woodstock Academy speak to us about her interest in artwork. She painted a large rock in town as a flag. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny was very successful. We cooked pancakes, bacon, sausage and home fries. We also had a Shepherd’s Pie dinner and are planning a Chicken Pot Pie take out on April 24 and 25. We hold open houses each Thursday afternoon. Groups have been formed to socialize while knitting and crocheting on two sessions evenings and days twice a month. Community members who have an interest in quilting also will be meeting. These are open to all levels of skills and ages. We are asking that they bring their project to share. Another exciting event will be a Composting For Beginners to be held on Sunday April 18 at 3PM. We have a very active Facebook page to promote our programs to the community. Our hall is used by other groups on a safe basis. So exciting to see the community in our hall.
