| January 13, 2021 -- Once, again we have lost another link in our Grange chain as we report the passing of our faithful Chaplain Carole Mancini. Carole joins her husband William who passed away 15 days earlier - both from Covid 19 virus complications. Carole will be remembered for never missing send a card and for her March refreshment – her Irish Soda Bread. Being an Irish lass, I can attest that it was the best.
Since our March meeting, we have lost five members, four of them officers.
On pleasant note, we were proud to be asked by the members of Prospect Grange if they could merge with us. We look forward to welcoming them when the world gets back in order.
I attended the zoom meetings of Nutmeg Pomona, State CWA and Publicity Committee. All very interesting. We look forward to working on some of the new CWA projects and contests.
