Around The Grange
November 2019 News from Higganum Grange No. 124

By Richard Prescott

  November 16, 2019 --

Higganum Grange met in regular form on September 20th. Reports on the Mystery Tour in July and the picnic in August were presented, with both events deemed to be a success.

The parking lot for the building has received a coat of sealer with lines painted to delineate no parking and handicap parking spaces. A lock box for keys to all building entrance doors has been placed so as to be available for emergency personnel, eg: fire department.

Internal “exit” lights have all been replaced. Our free library box for the community has been installed on the outside of the building and will be supplied by our Grange members as well as donations from towns’ people.

Local and state dues will be due in October. Norman Manning will be our delegate to the State Grange session. Refreshments followed the meeting. We will be getting back to our regular scheduled meetings the first Friday of the month, now that fall is upon us.
